CENTARE GROUP DEMONSTATES ADVANCED REPORTING TOOLS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESSES
MILWAUKEE, July, 2008 – Centare Group CEO Dave Glyzewski explained the importance for small and medium-sized businesses to invest in advanced reporting technologies at a recent Lunch & Learn educational event held at Friday’s Front Row at Miller Park. Centare Group consultants then demonstrated Actuate’s iServer Express as a potential reporting solution for businesses seeking cost-effective ways to dramatically improve their business intelligence and reporting ability. The Lunch & Learn was attended by representatives from Milwaukee area businesses including the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Hunter Business Group, Jefferson Wells, Johnson Controls and WE Energies among others.
“All too often, small and midsized businesses believe that advanced reporting technologies are luxuries best left to large companies,” said Glyzewski. “However, our consultants help a variety of businesses utilize advanced reporting solutions, many of which are optimized specifically for small and midsized companies. Taking advantage of these tools can save a company thousands of dollars in administrative costs and valuable time wasted on data entry and agonizing report creation.”
Centare Group recently used Actuate-based solutions to help a local client turn a two-week report generating process into a two-minute automated overnight procedure. According to Glyzewski, the same reports were also made available online, streamlining the process even further and saving the client money on increasingly expensive shipping costs.
Dean Devine, Centare Group Technology Evangelist, continued the Lunch & Learn presentation by highlighting the nuances of Actuate’s iServer Express. Devine answered questions and walked through the various tools that could appeal to small and midsized businesses including:
- automated reporting
- customizable home page, interface and access options
- interactive web reporting
- report forecasting
- built-in security measures
“I regularly help clients of all sizes set up and maximize various reporting tools,” said Devine. “Through Actuate and other similar technologies, our clients can create, manipulate and present a host of web reports, paper reports, brochures and fully-functional spreadsheets.”
